SAFEGUARDING WEEK

We are taking part in Bradford’s Safeguarding week from 6^th - 10^th October.

Pupils will be taking part in a variety of activities in class. We will be learning about a number of safeguarding themes including e-safety, water safety and people who can help us. We will be having a special assembly visitor and some speakers in class.

We would like to include parents and have the following events organised, which we hope you are able to attend:

Thursday 9^th October

After the Reception and K/S 1 Harvest assembly we would like to invite parents to stay for refreshments with our Parental Involvement workers. Two family support workers from Menston and Burley Children’s Centre will also be available to provide information about home safety checks, give accident prevention advice and talk about the fire safety scheme.

Thursday 9^th October 6.30pm-7.30pm

We would like to invite parents to an E-safety presentation. This session, led by an ICT consultant, will focus on how to minimise risk and keep your child safe using technology.
